We now have a very good three-way battle for the point lead with Long still leading, but only by 29 points.
Bad luck hit John Ward last Friday in the Holiday Powersports Pony Stock Division. This is just what everyone else needed, especially Jimmy Scavarda who dominated everything by being the fast qualifier, then winning his heat race, and capping off the night with a feature win. Ward's lack of luck began just prior to the heat race, when his #Fox47 Dodge Shadow failed to start for a lack of fuel pressure. They found the problem but not until the heat race was over. Then in the feature, Ward brought out the caution on lap 2 and had to pit for a flat tire. He was able to get back out before the green flew and drove a very good race from there on, salvaging a third place finish.
