Muskegon’s Dave Stehouwer outran the competition in the Andrews Chevrolet Super Late Model 40-lap feature on Poor Paul’s “Money from Heaven” Night. Fast qualifier, Tim Ryan, started seventh, while Stehouwer jumped out to lead lap one from the outside pole. Stehouwer opened up some real estate between himself and the rest of the field by lap five, with second place, Jimmy Gallagher, slowly reeling him in. Gallagher issued a challenge on lap 12, with Ryan running third, followed by Bob Bauer and Lee Taylor.
Stehouwer and Gallagher started picking off the rear of the field, only to find that Ryan had closed the gap between second and third and was back in the hunt for first. Caution on lap 26 closed up the field and at the drop of the green, Stehouwer took advantage of a clear track and pulled away. Lap 30 brought Ryan up to Gallagher’s rear bumper, looking for a way around him. At the stripe, it was Stehouwer, Gallagher, Ryan, Bauer, and Chris Place. Tim Rugg and Gary Duram scored heat wins.

Corey Miechiels and Perry Davenport led the MI Army National Guard MI Modifieds down to the start of their 35-lap feature. Davenport jumped out to the early lead, with fast qualifier, Dan Loughan, buried in the middle of the pack. Nyle Weiler and Earl Miles jockeyed for position, as Bud Perry began to work on the field from the outside by lap 10. Weiler was working on Miechiels for second, and by lap 15, had caught Miechiels for second. Perry broke into the top five on lap 15 as Miles worked on Miechiels for third. Perry made his move, advancing to third on lap 17 as Weiler grabbed the top spot. Perry worked the high groove around Davenport and made it stick on lap 25, as Miles ducked under Davenport. Perry looked to the outside of Weiler and was in the lead by lap 29. At the checker, it was Perry, Weiler, Miles, Davenport, and Dick LaPratt as the top five. Heat wins went to Ken Buchner and Nyle Weiler.

The Performance Automotive Northwest Street Stocks lined up for their 25-lap feature with fast qualifier, Dane Long, starting twelfth in the field. Nate Moon grabbed the lead with Howard McDonough, Dave Thorburn, and Mike Ammerman caught behind him on lap five. Ammerman broke out of the pack to jump into the lead, bringing Ed Newman Jr., Bubber Patrick, Rob Patrick along with him on lap 10, with Long breaking into the top five on lap 15. R. Patrick went to work on cousin, B. Patrick, for third, while Newman and Ammerman were nose to tail for the lead. Lap 25 saw Ammerman cross the line first, with second through fourth side-by-side as they crossed the stripe. R. Patrick came home in second, followed by Long, Newman, and B. Patrick. Jordan Harvey and Dave Thorburn were heat winners.

A herd of wild ponies raced to the start of the Q106 Pony Stock 20-lap feature. Fast qualifier, Trei Deubel started shotgun on the field. The start proved very interesting, as they were three and four-wide on the backstretch. Tina Anderson led lap one and relinquished the position to Jason Brunn on lap two, while Scavarda moved into second from his fifteenth starting position. Scavarda grabbed the lead on lap five and set sail for the victory. George Wyers, Julie Dailey, Bryan Passick II, and Brunn rounded out the top five at the line. Passick II and Deubel were credited with heat wins.
