I think the Snap On 60 was a HUGE success!! I haven't talked to anyone be it a driver, pit crew member, or spectator that did not LOVE it!
I would also like to give out a big thank you to my pit crew. Even though on a three man team my stop was the slowest it didn't hurt me much. Haveing to make the ONLY stop and go hurt me more.
I want to really thank Dennis O'Neil. Without him opening his shop to me and the guidence he has given me since the beginning of the season I never would be able to be out there. Steve Wrenn also has helped me out tremendously with the car and I owe them both a great big thank you!!
I hope next time we do this that I can make a better showing. Figure out why my car is cutting out and try to slow down on pit road!!
Thank you very much to all the fans that came out to watch. Thank you to all the racers that showed up like they said they would. And thank you even more to Maurice for coming up with one heck of an idea and for making it one heck of a show!! Without your dedication I never would have gotten into this great sport!! _________________ Metz Racing #79

Sweeper,
please explain how diapers and fat jokes share a common thread. _________________ Thanks

Dennis, Steve and I just found out we are pregnant. So I'm assuming Sweeper figured we'd need diapers more than we need a new motor for the race car!! LOL.... _________________ April |

Yup Willie and I worked at Spartan in the EARLY 90's on the track crew. I was still a kid...almost. Yes we are having a baby. Thanks for the wishes! _________________ ~~~~Steve "Big Daddy" Orta~~~~

I guess I need to get a shirt that says "Future racecar driver" but have it printed over my belly! He/She will definitely be into racing. My parents started taking me to the races when I was only a week old! And I've been going ever since! The sound of the racecars going around used to put me to sleep, and I have to admit, I could STILL sleep to that noise! Some people might like the sound of rain falling...I prefer a big race!!! Haha...Maybe that's why I'm always so tired after a day at the races! We will at least have a gokart for the kid, if I have to make it myself! Or beg my dad to make it! I had a gokart when I was a kid, and used to p*ss my mom off because I'd tear up the yard with it! Now that I think about it, my only excuse would have been "Well it's not any fun if you don't put it sideways in the turns!!" The poor grass! LOL... _________________ April |

April, your right, the racing bug bites early. I was at the race track before I was born and it still hasn't stopped. It's just one of those things it is in your blood. _________________ Aaron Spearling

Oh the racing bug will definently be in our kids blood, between aprils family of racers and my uncle and I. Gokart, Quarter Midget, Pony Stock, NASCAR in that order of course! lol _________________ ~~~~Steve "Big Daddy" Orta~~~~

You got it backwards, Quarter Midget comes BEFORE karting... _________________ -Kyle Callahan
