How many people still believe in the superstition about green race cars?
What about any other superstitions racers follow?

Back in 1968, Ed Howe kicked the old superstition bug in the hind end when he came out with his Kelly GREEN Chevelle #11. The ones for the number were 2 peanuts! This was one of the most successful cars in 1968. It also marked the beginning of Ed's association with the color green and his nickname "The Green Hornet". So much for superstitions!

Or Ken Buchner, driver of the #13, green mod.

An long time racer, he has done himself well with that number and color scheme also.

have a good day,

That was my point. I have always race a green 13 car. My son races a 13 car and won 50 races last year.

I don't do green on race day. Won't touch it, wear it or eat it. The few times I have... the car came off on a hook and Chris got a ride back to the pits in the ambulance. Confused
