If anyone has problems getting signed up for this message board, there is help available.

First, check the FAQ list. You can find this at the top of any page.

Second, send an email to: discussions@spartanspeedway.com

Explain the situation and we'll get you signed up so you can use the message board.

There are several people who have signed up, but are not yet activated. When you sign up for this board, an automatic email is sent to you. This email contains a link for you to go to which will activate your account. It is done this way so that the legitimate owner of the email address used during signup is the only one who can activate the account.

When you sign up, watch for that email to arrive, then either click on the link contained within the email if you have that ability, or copy and paste the link into your web browser's address bar.

If you still have trouble with this, send an email to discussions@spartanspeedway.com and we'll get you activated.

Anyone who has registered for this message board but who has failed to activate their account within 30 days is automatically deleted from the system. The most likely problem for not being able to activate your account is a failure to receive the email that the message board sends just after the new user registers for the first time.

If you are one of the people who have not been able to log in after registering, you'll need to fix your email problem first. I can help you by manually activating your account and sending you a new password (you can change it after successfully logging in). But I can't do this if you have one of the following problems:

  • Your email has been cancelled by your service provider
  • Your spam filters are blocking the message board email
  • You never check your email
  • You deleted the confirmation email without reading it

You MUST make sure you can receive email from "discussions@spartanspeedway.com" or you'll never be able to use this message board. Period.

If you have a problem, send an email to:

discussions@spartanspeedway.com

I'll help get you set up here, but you must make sure you can accept email from the above email address or I can't help you.

Thanks...

-Maurice

Anyone who uses yahoo.com for their email address, be warned: Yahoo, by default puts new emails that it doesn't recognize in the spam folder. This is a very bad problem that Yahoo has. A lot of legitimate email ends up in the spam folder.

Newly registered users here who have a yahoo.com email address don't get their confirmation email because Yahoo puts the email in the spam folder. The confirmation email contains the activation link that you will use to activate your account to be able to use the message board.

Therefore, you must look through your Yahoo spam folder for any email from spartanspeedway.com. Then, once you find the email, you can mark it as "not spam" and Yahoo will no longer put spartanspeedway.com email in your spam folder.

It is up to you, the user, to train your Yahoo email account to learn what is spam and what is not spam. Yahoo's email servers aren't smart enough to do this for you.

As of September 27, 2007, here's a partial list of usernames of people who have tried to register to use this message board but who have not activated their accounts. Each and every one of these people have submitted Yahoo email addresses when registering.

If you are one of these people, please look in your Yahoo spam folder for the confirmation email that was sent to you. Yahoo puts unrecognized email into your spam folder instead of in your main inbox. Yahoo might be good at recognizing unwanted spam email, but it is not very good at recognizing legitimate email. The bad part is you still have to look through all of your emails in your spam folder to make sure there aren't any legitimate emails in there. What's the point in having a spam folder? You have to manually click on something to let Yahoo know that it is OK to receive email from spartanspeedway.com and springportmotorspeedway.com.

chvyracn24
afastpony
justinlover_69
carole
racersis1
RacerLacey93
shawneet
racing8
nofear
Raceteam30

Anyway, open up your confirmation email and go to the link that is included in it and your account on this message board will become active and you will then be able to participate here.

If you can't find the email or if it has been purged from your spam box, send me an email to: discussions@spartanspeedway.com and I will help you. But be sure to allow spartanspeedway.com email to be received or you will not get my response.

The following user submitted an invalid email address, probably did a typo when entering it:

GIL E LITTLE

Send me an email Gilbert and I'll help you out once I know your correct email address.

Thank you...
