This next Friday night will be Old Timer's Night at Spartan Speedway. The track started 56 years ago. There is a lot of history at this track. Many of the former track champions are now in the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame. I will be at the track on Friday with my collection of old photos and memorabilia. Stop by and talk racing, Past or Present. I would love to see any pictures from the past that any of you may have.
I am still need the track champions from 1956 through 1962. I would also love to hear any stories from the past.
Hope to see all of you there Friday.

Be sure to come out and see many of the stars and cars from the past this Friday night. Does anyone remember going to the very first race? Or the match race between Joy Fair and his super mod and Johnny White's midget? Or the first ever Hare and the Hound race which originated at Spartan? Does anyone remember when it was called Lansing Speedway (not to be confused with Capital City Speedway which was located on the west side of Lansing)?
Be sure to bring out your pictures and memorabilia from the past and relive that great days and races from the past! Looking forward to seeing and talking to all of the race fans and drivers from the past and present Friday.
