Three Races In Five Days On Tap For Chad Finley In Champion Racing Association (CRA) Competition

One JEGS/CRA Race Followed by Two ARCA/CRA Races all in Michigan

DeWitt, Michigan (Thursday, June 14th, 2012): All it took was a little luck and a lot of faith and Chad Finley knew that, in time, he would finally find victory lane in a JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts race. It finally happened for Finley and the entire Chad Finley Racing Team on May 26th at Columbus Motor Speedway in Columbus, Ohio.

With the win, Finley has made the early run for the 2012 JEGS/CRA title a dogfight between the top six teams in the season long points chase. In addition, the CFR Team is riding a huge wave of momentum heading into the next event on the JEGS/CRA schedule in a race title sponsorship by Finley’s primary sponsor; The Auto Value Parts Stores & Certified Service Centers 100 Presented by JEGS.com on Friday, June 15th at the fast 4/10s (0.400 mile progressively banked paved oval of Dixie Motor Speedway, located just an hour northeast of the DeWitt, Michigan based CFR Race Shop in Birch Run, Michigan.

Last season, Finley finished an impressive second at Dixie and is looking to advance one spot further up the leaderboard. “We are really looking forward to getting back to Dixie this weekend. It’s a big event for our sponsor Auto Value Parts Stores & Certified Service Centers as they are sponsoring the event and I am hoping we can keep our momentum from our win at Columbus and have a good showing for them.” Finley remarked.

“It would mean a lot to win the race for everyone involved with Auto Value, Howe Racing Enterprises, and the Air Lift Company as well as CFR in our home state of Michigan. Last year we had a great race car and we are taking a brand new car named ‘mo fo’ this weekend to try and finish one spot better.” He added. “Plus, Mike Staszak from XLT Engineering is driving a team car for us this weekend (#142), so we want to make sure he has a good run also. We’re ready to roll and we’re looking forward to getting out there.” He stated.

Looking ahead with the ARCA/CRA Super Series car, the next race for CFR will be on Saturday, June 16th at Springport Motor Speedway in Springport, Michigan for the Springport 125 Featuring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series veteran and friend of CFR, Kenny Schrader. The Springport event will be followed by the Rowdy 251 three days later on Tuesday, June 19th at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan as Finley will go head to head with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star, Kyle Busch and a host of others.

“I’m really looking forward to this race. We are taking our chassis ‘Shady Grady’ there and she was awesome at Toledo until we got tied up in that wreck,” Finley offered. “’Shady’ is a great race car and the guys have really spent countless hours putting her back together. A lot of racing this week and that’s what I love to do. We are going to just keep digging here and do the best we can.” He ended.

Speed51.com, the Short Track Source for motorsports coverage will be at all three events with their widely popular “Trackside Now” coverage as well as the Live Radio Broadcast from each track. For those that can’t make the trips but want to keep track and cheer on the CFR Team, just go to: www.speed51.com and follow all the action from each track throughout the afternoon and into the evening on each race day.

Throughout the rest of the 2012 racing season both of Finley’s CRA cars, (JEGS/CRA & ARCA/CRA Super Series) will be sporting identical black paint schemes and carrying the familiar #42, with sponsorship decals on each Ford Fusion from; Auto Value Parts Stores & Certified Service Centers, as well as AutoParts2020.com, XLT Engineering, NorthsideTowing.net, Nalett Trucking, Howe Racing Enterprises, The Air Lift Company, Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil, Memphis Wood Fire Grills, Staubli Products, QuicShine99, Hyperco, Maurer’s Textiles, Superior Racing Images, and M.P.H.
