Chad Finley Looking For A Win In ARCA/CRA Super Series Competition At Toledo Speedway

DeWitt, Michigan (Friday, April 27th, 2012): After competing in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts Season Opener, the Eric Saunders I Can I Will 100 Presented by JEGS.com on April 22nd at Plymouth, Indiana, the Chad Finley Racing Team has re-shifted their focus on their first ARCA/CRA Super Series race of the season.

Finley will be making his second ever ARCA/CRA Super Series start on Sunday, April 29th in the 7-Up 100 at the fast ½ (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio, which is part of a special Twin 100s program with the ARCA Gold Cup Outlaw Super Late Models Series who will join the ARCA/CRA Super Series on a special Sunday afternoon. This will be the 20-year-olds’ first race in what is now the ARCA/CRA Super Series since his lone appearance at Berlin Raceway in 2008.

“We’re looking forward to getting back to Toledo. I really enjoy racing there,” Remarked the DeWitt, Michigan driver. “We shook down the new car at Owosso Speedway (In Ovid, Michigan) earlier this week and the test went well. The power difference from the JEGS car to these cars is quite a bit. It’s going to be fun to race and there are a lot of great racers in this series also. I’m looking forward to it.” He added.

In Finley’s last race, the first of the 2012 season as well as the JEGS/CRA opener, Finley qualified 19th and finished 11th after battling an ill-handling car throughout the afternoon. ”We just missed the set up there. Hopefully we can turn it around this weekend at Toledo and get a good solid run in,” Finley continued. “If we can come out of there with a strong finish, I believe that will carry over to our next JEGS race.”

The next JEGS/CRA race for the CFR Team is on Saturday-Sunday, May 5-6th at another legendary ½ (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval, this one being the historic Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana for the Winchester 100 Presented by JEGS.com.

The 2012 racing season will see both of Finley’s CRA cars, sporting identical black paint schemes and carrying the familiar #42, carrying sponsorship decals on each Ford Fusion from; AutoParts2020.com as well as Auto Value Parts Stores & Certified Service Centers, XLT Engineering, NorthsideTowing.net, Nalett Trucking, Howe Racing Enterprises, The Airlift Company, Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil, Memphis Wood Fire Grills, Staubli Products, QuicShine99, Hyperco, Superior Racing Images, and M.P.H. Promotions. “All of our partners here at CFR mean the world to us and we can’t thank them enough for their support.” Finley ended.
