Chad Finley Begins Quest For 2012 JEGS/CRA Championship This Weekend at Plymouth Speedway

DeWitt, Michigan (Friday, April 20th, 2012): All the off-season planning and preparing, all the hard work and late nights at the shop has all built up to the first race of the 2012 racing season for Chad Finley Racing. This Saturday-Sunday, April 21-22nd the quest for the 2012 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts Championship begins at the 3/8s (0.375) mile semi-banked paved oval of Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth, Indiana in the running of the Plymouth 100 Presented by JEGS.com.

DeWitt, Michigan rising star Chad Finley and the entire CFR Team has one simple goal in mind; and that is the 2012 JEGS/CRA title! “I’m really looking forward to getting back behind the wheel. It’s been a long off-season,” the DeWitt, Michigan driver stated. “All the guys have worked extremely hard building racecars and I’ve been in the gym working extra hard to get ready for this race season.”

On April 14th, Finley and the CFR Team ventured down to Springport Motor Speedway in Springport, Michigan to shake the car down in anticipation of the 2012 JEGS/CRA Season Opener. “The test went great, the car was really good right off the truck,” the 20-year-old continued. “That allowed us to spend some time trying some things we normally wouldn’t be able to do on race weekends and the car responded to the changes that we made and we’re very happy with that.”

“Also we’ve added a lot of new marketing partners this year and that’s make the entire team feel like all of our hard work is starting to pay off. So now it’s our job to reward them starting in Plymouth, Indiana this weekend.” He added. “When we look back at last season we had a lot of momentum with our strong finishes. Unfortunately victory lane slipped away a few times, so we’re ready to get back to racing and pick up where we left off and hopefully find victory lane this weekend.” Finley ended.

After the 2012 season opener for JEGS/CRA, CFR will debut their brand new ARCA/CRA Super Series car next weekend on Saturday-Sunday, April 28-29th as the CFR Team will make their first ARCA/CRA Super Series start of the season at the fast ½ (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio in the 7-Up 100, which is part of a special Twin 100s program with the ARCA Gold Cup Outlaw Super Late Models Series who will join the ARCA/CRA Super Series on a special Sunday afternoon.

The 2012 racing season will see both of Finley’s CRA cars, identical black #42’s carrying sponsorship on the sides of each Ford Fusion from Auto Value Parts Stores & Certified Service Centers as well as AutoParts2020.com, XLT Engineering, NorthsideTowing.net, Nalett Trucking, Howe Racing Enterprises, The Airlift Company, Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oil, Memphis Wood Fire Grills, Staubli Products, QuicShine99, Hyperco, Superior Racing Images, and M.P.H.
