Memphis Wood Fire Grills on board with Chad Finley Racing for the 2012 Racing Season

DeWitt, Michigan (Wednesday, March 21st, 2012): As preparations continue for the 2012 racing season, recently turned 20-year-old Chad Finley and the Chad Finley Racing Team continue to spend long hours in the shop preparing for the 2012 season not only within the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts, but also in the ARCA/CRA Super Series.

The CFR team recently purchased a new Howe Racing Enterprises chassis with the intent on making seven starts, exactly half the northern schedule, within the premier series for Champion Racing Association (CRA) as well as all 14 scheduled events for JEGS/CRA. After securing partnerships with Kawkawlin, Michigan based businessman, Mike Staszak of XLT Engineering as well as continuing a long standing Finley tradition with Howe, one more sponsor has come on board for the upcoming campaign joining the CFR team.

The CFR Team and Chad Finley will fire up a Memphis Grill for the first time on Saturday-Sunday, April 21-22nd as Finley and crew will begin the chase for the 2012 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts Championship at the 3/8s (0.375) mile semi-banked paved oval of Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth, Indiana in the running of the Plymouth 100 Presented by JEGS.com.

The following weekend on Saturday-Sunday, April 28-29th the CFR Team will make their first ARCA/CRA Super Series start of the season at the fast ½ (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio in the Toledo ARCA 100.

During the inaugural JEGS/CRA campaign in 2011, Finley finished third in the final points standings with five top five finishes including a season high second place finish on two occasions; At Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Indiana on October 2nd, after starting 35th, and at Dixie Motor Speedway in Birch Run, Michigan on June 17th. He also racked up an impressive nine top 10 finishes in the 11 series events.
