Spartan Speedway is pleased to announce the addition of Rand Thompson to our staff as our weekly writer.

You will soon see a link on the front page of www.spartanspeedway.com as well as a new article each week, once the season starts up, keeping our friends informed of weekly results.

Rand has a long history in Motor Sports and will certainly be an asset to Spartan. Welcome aboard!

I would also like to publicly thank Michelle Sprague for all of her hard work and commitment to Spartan and racing in general. Michelle was with us for a long time and did an absolute superb job. I wish for Michelle some fun Friday nights in her future.

Thanks Jim and the rest of the Spartan family for the warm welcome.

I am really looking forward to the 2012 season at "The Track the Stars Call Home"

Spartan is a great track and the upcoming season should be a good one. Too bad it is only February Crying or Very sad

I know some of you already, but looking forward to meeting everyone in the pits and the stands this season.
