Friday ABC drivers can expect to see 3 splits which will allow for a C feature. This should align all cars with very like times. To ensure drivers are fairly compensated the purse structure has been adjusted to reflect higher C pay off.
A remains the same
B 1=200 2=150 3=140 4=130 5=120 6=110 7=100 8 & down=90
C 1=150 2=100 3=90 4=80 5=75 6 & down=70 |

| FYI......points accumulate the same in the B and C classes. No one will gain any advantage by running the B over the C. |

in my opinion,,,it is the foward looking thinking that Spartan has used over the years that has made it an inovator.
Spartan was the leader in michigan establishing the MOD class, the FWD 4 cyl. Class, and the Non winged sprint class.
the tracks commitment in $$$ for the abc class is comendable.
This is the way I see it,,,there are only 2 futures for the sportsman/street stock type classes,,,
Make the the ABC deal work,,,
Or these cars will have no where to race in a few years.,,,this class is dying at most local tracks....
ABC is not perfect,,,but it allows everyone to race against simular performing cars in their own feature and own championship. |

PS,,,
Not now.. but in a few years,,,this is what I think would make the ABC class even better,,
Restrict the exhaust flow by requiring a 2 inch outlet on each of the dual exhaust outlets.
get rid of the rear spoilers. |

Arnold,
That sounds really familiar to the rules at another track I am frequently seen at......... _________________ Rand Thompson
