With the help from Hobart (Dick Lapratt) who's car Matt drove and 16 Modified drivers, The Racin Hippie, Matt Schindewolf was able to run in the event he has put his heart and sole into for 6 great years.

Some issues beyond Matt's control have forced him to set on the side lines all year. We felt that one way to repay Matt for all the hard work he and his family have put into all the R&R events would be to get his butt in a car for the race last night.

The following drivers made contributions to buy 4 tires for Matt, plus Jim Leasure and Spartan Speedway were kind enough to give us a deal on 4 tires for the sole purpose of Matt getting to race.

T3 Walt Obrinski, 05 Brian Roes, 8 Sonny Coito, 14 Kyle Drake, 27 Nyle Weiler, 21 Dave Gooestry, 21 Nick Clements, 31 Ron Parish, 35 Wayne Haughton, 45 Jim Kennedy ( who could not attend), 49 Perry Davenport, 72 Dan Logan, 73 Earl Miles, 89 Toni Pastorino, 88 AJ Foote, and 96 Justin Kazmar all made a donation to get Matt in this event.

We ended up with some funds left over and drew 11 Mod drivers names out of a hat and each were given 10.00 back from the left over funds.

We would all like to say a huge Thank You to Matt and his family for all the time they have put into all 6 Racin & Rockin events, as without you this would not happen.
