| Congrats to Jimmy Heeney for winning the Sprint season championship last night - his first ever championship in almost 30 years of racing. Thanks to all the sprint drivers, owners and crews that made the initial season of sprint cars at Spartan a success. |

Congratulations to Jimmy Heeney.
Jimmy is a second generation driver and now his son Tyler is driving in the Pony division which makes Tyler a 3rd generation driver. Tyler also won his very first feature this season and has the trophy to prove it.
Jim Heeney, Bill Heeney, Gary and Tommy Fedewa were the people that were doing the most arm twisting when the Spartan Wingless Sprint series was in it's infancy so I am gald to see Jim earn the Championship. (Plus I know he will get a ton of tickets to the banquet). |

The Sprint division was a wonderful addition to the show at Spartan, and they all put on a great show when they were on the track. Congrat's go to Jim Heeney for the Championship, and congrat's go to everyone who helped get this division up and running thhis season.
Looking forward to 2011.
