Spartan is pleased to make an early announcement that in 2011 a new division will be added to the weelky program.

The division will be known as Spartan Stocks and will be made up of stock cars that were commonly known as Sportsman or Pures.

There will be two or three divisions (A,B,C) and each division will race with their peers. In other words cars that compete will be racing with cars with similiar times. We did this with the Ponies and most of the racing was very close. The Pony division has also grown.

This allows for most cars to fit with in the very short and simple rules package. We will roll out the rules shortly after the banquet.

I have personally talked to many of our drivers and have not had any negative input.
