When Spartan met with people that were interested in the Spartan Wingless Sprint Series last fall we discussed start pay and had agreed that when and if we felt that teams had made a reasonable commitment we would increase at least the start pay as early as possible. I think we have seen a very nice start and Spartan will now increase the start pay by 50.00.

Although this is a modest increase I am in hopes that it will be enough to push two, three or four cars off the fence that I understand have taken a wait and see position.

The SWS's have fit in nicely, the tires have been decent, the smaller track has been easy on the cars and the fans enjoy the show.

If you want to give it a go for a couple of nights there is no registration fee, only a 10.00 slab fee and pit passes.

I would also like to thank the teams for their efforts and for giving Spartan a try.
