I was told by Chuck yesterday that as allowed in the past two years racing springs will be legal.
Didn't see anyone else post it so i figured i would.
Thanks,
Kyle. |

If a Pure Stock does not have the standard, stock springs you must add 25lbs. The only other option is to "unscramble" the egg. In other words make everyone un do what they have had on their cars for years.
This whole issue came into play when Spartan tried to match rules from other facilities in order for cars to have the ability to travel for special shows or just race Friday and Saturday. Also we have some cars that were previously Street Stocks and now are trying to fit into the Pure Stock rules.
The down side of using non-stock appearing springs is if you do travel to another track you risk being DQ'd.
This does not allow for other adjustment devices to be installed in the springs. |
