Great decision on running Pony figure 8's on Sunday shows....I would like to add something for Jim and Bill to think about...Rules for the Pony and Pure figure 8's should be the same as the rules for the oval. Same tires..same exhaust rules....same weights....I believe that this will help with car counts, make it more competitive and you wont have one or two cars running away from everyone else making for a better show. Just my opinion.

I also want to say thank you for adding the Ponies to the slug fest figure 8's.
I always thought the figure 8 rules were the same as the regular oval rules.
I did not see a seperate section for figure 8 cars.
If they are not could they be specified as to what is different and allowed??
Thanks

Im just saying that it should be written in the rules what is allowed for the Fig 8's. I think the only difference in the rules would be to allow 8 deg of camber on the left front to be able to turn right better for the fig 8.

I think the confusion on the Figure 8 rules comes from prior to 2009 when the Sunday Pony Stock rules were opened up allowing better tires, bigger exhaust, and RWD cars to compete. These rules also applied to the Figure 8 because those shows were held on Sunday.
In 2009, the Sunday Pony Stock rules reverted to Friday night Pony Stock rules. And I'm assuming the Figure 8 rules did as well.
