Here's something that has caused a little confusion for a few people. This occurs when you change your email address in your profile here on the board.

For security reasons, the message board will deactivate your account temporarily when you change your email address. It then sends you an email to your new email address containing a link that you can go to with your web browser which will reactivate the account. This is similar to what you had to do when you first signed up here.

If you supply an incorrect email address or mistype it when you enter it in your profile, then you will never get the email containing the link. If that should happen, just send an email to: discussions@spartanspeedway.com and I'll help by manually reactivating the account for you.

The main reason for this feature is to keep scammers out. If they get signed up using their legitimate email address, they can't change it to one that doesn't work and then post all their scamming websites all over the message board. We ant to keep our only little tight-knit group in here. Nothing wrong with that, yes?
