would FWD 4 cyl car Enduro work for this type of race??

Dear Mr. Randal,
Please help and post on the MSTRC discussion board about the gearing you could use for the 3 spped automatics for the Dodge shadows and Neons. You need a gear ratio that would be ok for the 1/2 mile, then shift to another gear for the 1/4 mile.
Ithink a 4 cyl FWD doublle 'O" enduro would be cool, 100 cars running the double"O".
In the OLD days, the Mt. clemmons sportsman drivers used the Muncie close ratio 4 speed that had ~ a 1. 22 ratio diverance between 3 and 4th gear.

Rick,
the double o uses both track at the same time. You would start on the big track, go a lap then pull down onto the small track, go a lap then back onto the big track. you continue doing this for whatever the total laps are. It can get quite exciting after a few laps when the car get strung out.
