I see that the rules for type of chassis has been changed/ammended in the Latemodel division !
S) NO FULL PERIMETER FRAME CARS
Does this mean NO stock perimeter chassis or does it mean the chassis Must be offset ? I have a Full perimeter tubed chassis such as a Howe fit design ! Is this a legal chassis ?
Thanks for your Quick responce,
Mike |

Correct, no stock full perimeter frames allowed. The Howe perimeter chassis is legal. _________________ Jim Barker - Timing, Scoring & Other Stuff |

What about a full tubed chassis with a stock from sub ~ is this a Legal chassis ?
There are alot of old latemodels, and Limited lates for sale that are full tubed chassis with stock front subs.
I've looked at several of these type of chassis for sale that have ran at other local tracks and/or out of state tracks. They can be bought for a decent price ~ drop a crate motor in them, and your racing for alot less money than i cost to buy a Superlate ! This would both help the class, and racers on a budget !
Your NOT going to win every night with a car like this, as the guys with the SB2, and other 650+ HP motors WILL still be in front every night, but you could race in a good class for a reasonable price ~ cheaper than running a sportsman ~ We've got MORE than that into our current cars, and still run midpack !

| Chuck, I think what you are talking about is going to be fine in the late model division. We may have a couple of them right now. I am sure we have in the past. |
