| Of all people, Gator Williams is THE LAST person who should or deserves to be at the center of a controversy such as this. Gator is a good guy, and a lot of fun to race with. I think he would be the first to admit he has one of the slowest street stocks on the track, but he is just plain hard to pass (unless your WAY faster than him). Gator has been racing a long time and knows how to make his car a lot wider than what it really is. I will admit that Gator runs a slightly non-traditional line around the track, but he is under no obligation to run any line other that the one he thinks works best for him. That folks, is why we run the races and not just load up and go home after qualifying. See ya in the spring, Gator! |

Thanks to those of you that have come to Gator's support in this thread. Ron is right Gator probably does run the closest thing to a street stock. I was proud to see him get the most improved driver reward. I would let him try my mod out but his feet and belly are to big to fit in my car. Yes he is planning on racing next year. Good Job Gator.
Love,
Your Brother Tom |

Ok Tom, you will need another excuse to keep Gator from showing you how to really get that Mod around the track. Ha!Ha!Ha!

Go Gator Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been racing with Gator for a long long long long time. You can depend on Gator to never intentionally hit anyone. Maybe all drivers should spend some time in a less than perfect handling street stock trying to keep up with limited lates. At least he has the guts to give it his best try week after week. See Ya Al. _________________ Thanks

Dan,
Maybe I am getting just to old. I know my car is fast and it is faster than the driver is right now. But we will keep working on it. If we could just figure our how to qualify the darn thing we would be ok.

It has come to my attention that a posting was made from my shop computer from a FORMER crew member of mine and "This person shall remain nameless" since HE KNOWS WHO THE %^&* HE IS!! In any event, I have reviewed this posting and in NO WAY do I agree with the statements made.
This person is no longer a member of my crew!! I yes had a few bumps and bangs with Gator but nothing that nobody else didn't get. For the most part my former team member seems to forget that we only participated in seven events at Spartan this year! So I don't think a few accidents would have done us so wrong! This was also my rookie season in a street stock so for what its worth, I'm sure Al could drive my doors off!! I must appologize to AL especially!! and to all the Gator fans for this persons stupidity!! I am very sorry, and look forward to banging doors or what ever with Al or anyone else for that matter. If we were all perfect drivers racing would be borring!! I hope no harm was done and I look forward to seeing EVERYONE at the track in 2007. Tom, tell Al I will be looking to pit with him and would be nothing more proud to run right next to him!!
Thanks to all - "Long live the Gator!!"

| paul i liked what you said about if they was no bumping it would be borning. gator drives the wheel off what of he has. i have races with him for many years and i can rell you like it is. if you drive though him look out because he'll return it the same way he got. i don't think gator would try to hurt any one on the track or try to kill them seeing how he has lost some one very close to him on the track. i'm glad every thing is all good with you and racing with gator. ron 1r parish |

I was so surprised on how many people came to back Gator up on this posting. I printed off everyone's reply so Gator could see them and he was very touch.
To Paul,
I'm sorry that things were said out of anger but like Ron said, Gator has been racing a long time and he would not hurt anyone on purpose. I think he did really great this year finishing 9th in the points.
I'm glad everything is straighten out and I will make sure he sees this. _________________ Trina Wurmnest

I feel really bad that this has happened!! It is obvious, I need to pay attention to things alittle more. If anyone has ever met me, they would realise that the things said are not me. I get angry like the next guy, but I am not afraid to say it face to face. The fact is $%& happens and racing ain't racing without being on the edge of disaster, those that said if you are worried about messing up your car, better leave it at home. Are exactly right!! I hope that Al understands what has happened and that I feel really bad for what happened, No thanks to someone else being a Jackass. I am not in anyway angered by what anyone said, I feel it was justified all the way!
Thanks for letting Al know this, and I hope to race you guys soon!! Al, may need to change paint schemes though as my car will be white this year and it could be hard telling who rubbed who? Haaha.
See ya. _________________ Drive Fast, Turn Left! - 66t |
