For those of you who were complaining about the Figure 8 payoff........read this and then explain to why your payoff is so terrible, even at $750 to win and $100 to start for 8 cars.

I did some checking on tracks in our area (Michigan, Ohio and Indiana) that regularly run Figure 8's. The winners purse was anywhere from $250 to $300 and the start money was from $50 to $70. The cost of the cars was equal to or more expensive than the Spartan cars. The field of cars consist of 16 plus cars each race.

Just some food for thought the next time you want to express your displeasure at the Spartan purse.
