| Just my opinion, and I understand the breakout rule but I think the way its being enforced isn't good. For example, when the #8 car got caught speeding the yellow came out, stopping the race and he was sent to the rear, then a few laps later the same #8 was caught again and the yellow came out again. This isn't good racing for the drivers or the spectators who want to see a good race. Another example is when the #19 was caught speeding after being lapped by the leader and the race was stopped to send her to the rear. In my opinion it would be best to keep the race going and DQ the car after the race is complete. It just doesn't make sense to put a car in the rear of a field and tell him/her to just ride back there and not race. Again this is just my opinion, not trying to tell you how to run the track. |

| Yep, stopping the race for a speeding penalty hurts the show. It should be announced that car #A was caught speeding and will be scored as last on the lead lap. The race leader should not be penalized by bunching the field back up and possibly losing the event on account of a yellow that was thrown out for someone else's speeding violation. |

If you're caught speeding the yellow Should be brought out and you sent to the rear as the rules state and your time should be REset to your faster time! In the case of the #8 car If you breakout again~NO yellow--->you get the BLACK flag! In that case it means you've broke out by at the Least a half second from your original time!
In Any case you should NEVER be sent to the rear and Told to ride around and not race! The idea of being sent to the rear is so you can Continue to Race! If that's not the case then ALL racers that breakout on time should just be Black Flagged and your night is Over!
Racing Isn't Fair and if the field gets bunched back up because of a breakout caution that's the way it is! It's No more unfair than if someone spins or wrecks!

I see they removed the post about the 14 car getting a speeding ticket for going .22 under his time, and rule is .25 _________________ MATHEW VAINNER

| Let me clear that up.... The 14 scratched his time and got a new time of 17.019 in the heat race. So his speeding time was 16.769. Once you scratch your time the new time is used wether it is faster or slower. The qualifying time just doesn't reflect his new time acquired in the heat race. You'll notice his best time in the Heat race does. |

Can you please explain to me how or WHY you would qualify at a certain time, then if you go slower in the heat race you "scratch" your time then start to win in the feature and all of a sudden get a speeding ticket.
Oh yeah, I know how...YOU GUYS LIE! I'm sick of coming every Friday night and cheering for a few of my favorite racers just to watch them defeated EVERY night by the track officials playing FAVORITES!!!!!
We're fans people, we see things differently and we keep watching who at the track is being treated differently. If you want to keep fans you need to keep the favoritism out of the equation.
LET THE #14 WIN FAIRLY! Quit allowing for stupid cautions of daughters and sons of track officials to stop a race. It's getting out of control and I'm on my last thread with this track, so honestly, if you want to keep our business on Friday nights...CHANGE THINGS!! |

Some where between the line up board and the scorers in the tower there was a misunderstanding about Cameron scratching. Using Cameron's Q time he only broke out one lap, which does not call for a speeding ticket.
The mistake is on us and it has been taken care of. Cameron will receive a public apology Friday at the drivers meeting.
Going forward we will require any driver scratching their time to sign the Q sheet. This should avoid any repeat of the same mistake. |

| So let me get this right. The #14 pony stock qualified at 16.9 scratched his time and ran a 17.0 in his heat race. The #7 pony stock qualified at 16.9 scratched his time and ran a 17.0 in his heat race. So why did #14 start on the pole and the #7 start at the rear? When asked why I was told if you qualify slower in the heat race you will start at the rear . |

| He did break his time out on one lap........somehow during the evening, the tower was under the impression that he had scratched his time......line up was never under that impression and thats why he was still on the pole. It was a mistake on Spartan's part and a mutual agreement was made between partys to satisfy the situation. |

| If I may chime in I looked at the results that are posted on this site and the 14 qualified at 16.93. Then again looking at this sites results his fastest lap during the feature race was lap 4 and he ran 16.71 and if my math is correct the difference is .22. my understanding is to break your time and get a speeding ticket and get put to the back in the A feature is .25 and must be broken in two laps. so he did NOT break his time and I read all parties came to an undersanding. BUT all of us (fans) out here read the previous response posted by Bill Lackey, as the #14 is still broke his time and he actually did NOT so for everyone else they need to know that. Too bad he couldn't of finished the race without being sent to the back and maybe got his first win!! The pony stocks are definetly my favorite and many others I'm sure!! |

from the spartan rule book available on this site.
A Bracket:
Any 2 laps .25 under qualifying time. Top 4 qualifiers are exempt.
B and C Brackets:
Any 2 laps 0.20 under their qualifying time.
Any car 0.20 under their qualifying time on the last lap will be scored behind the last car on the lead lap
so for the a you are correct with your thinking _________________ Scott C.
