how about setting some rules for the sprints. i have a dirt car and would like to race but i cant make the 1600 pounds with my dirt car. plus i think the dirt cars need a weight break. i can hit 1500 with out too much lead. with sprintcars its really hard to safely add lead. just ask gary. i love the rr tire rule. its about time someone went wit ha good rr tire.its not hard to tell the difference between the dirt cars and pavement cars.

I have heard from some that say they can add the weight but are not crazy about the idea and also a couple that have said that they couldn't. They didn't say why they couldn't and I should have asked but didn't think of it at the time. Gary's input is important and so is everyone elses.

The Sprint rules that will be posted by January 1st do not allow for any weight breaks for dirt cars, it is something that will require Spartan to gather some more information on and then make the best over all choice for everyone. We are aware though that this is a popular issue. We also want to keep everything very simple for drivers and the track.
