ANY DRIVER THAT PAID A REGISTRATION FEE AND COMPETED IN MORE THAN HALF OF THE COMPLETED EVENTS (OF A REGULARLY SCHEDULED DIVISION) FOR A SEASON, WILL BE AWARDED A TROPHY AND POINTS MONEY AT THE END OF THE SEASON DRIVERS BANQUET.
ANY DRIVER THAT PAYS A REGISTRATION FEE AND COMPETES IN EVERY SCHEDULED EVENT WILL RECEIVE A PERFECT ATTENDANCE PLAQUE AND FREE ADMISSION TO THE END OF SEASON DRIVER'S BANQUET.
$5.00 rebate per tire will apply to all drivers that meet the above criteria. This rebate applies to tires purchased for your car only.
The rebate will be added to your points fund check.
Champions: Each Division will have a season Champion. The Champion will receive a ticket for the Spartan Speedway Banquet and is expected to attend, to allow for pictures and awards presentations. Each Champion that attends the banquet will receive the Spartan Speedway Champions Hood and the hood will be displayed on Spartan property for the next season. The Champion will then receive their hood to keep on the following season Championship Night.
Additional awards to be presented in all divisions at the Drivers Banquet:
- Most Improved
- Sportsman of the Year
- Best looking Car (to the team that consistently kept their car looking as good as possible)
- Most Professional Team (uniforms, team management)
All the above are voted on by the competitors. Each team will get one vote for each category and will be required to submit their vote 0n 8/17,24 at the payoff window.
Rookie of the Year will be elected by Spartan Staff
POINT FUND PAY-OFF
- Late Models - (Abbreviated Season) - .15 (cents) per point
- Modifieds - Regular Friday night purse
- Spartan Stocks - Regular Friday night purse
- Pony Stocks - Regular Friday night purse
a) Championship points will be issued to all drivers at all scheduled events at Spartan. Any discrepancy in points must be brought to the attention of the official in charge of scoring within a 3 week period following the event in question.
b) To receive championship points and prize money for an event, a driver and car must take the green flag at the start of the race.
c) Any postponed race, if rescheduled, shall be run on the same season point's total.
d) Championship Night will be lined up the same as regular Friday night shows. (Qualifying plus Invert)
e) Any tie in points for the championship at the end of the scheduled season shall be determined as follows:
1. Events entered and competed in by driver
2. Average finishing position in feature races
3. Most victories
4. Most fast times
5. Average qualifying position
f) Points for qualifying (except Spartan Stocks & Pony Stocks):
1st: 20 points 9th: 8 points
2nd: 15 points 10th: 7 points
3rd: 14 points 11th: 6 points
4th: 13 points 12th: 5 points
5th: 12 points 13th: 4 points

h) Feature: The number of cars locked into each feature will be determined each race, relevant to the number of cars competing.

ANY TRANSFERS FROM CONSI EVENTS TO FEATURE RACES WILL NOT RECEIVE POINTS OR PAY FOR THE CONSI. ONLY FEATURE POINTS AND PAY EARNED BY FINISHING POSITION.
j) Spartan Stock & Pony Stock Point Structure: Points are earned differently in the Spartan Stock & Pony Stock divisions. The design of the points for the Pony Stocks and Spartan Stocks is to encourage clean, consistent racing and also awards those who show up on a regular basis.
Appearance points: 40. Appearance points are awarded for showing up to compete. Any attempt to compete during the night qualifies for appearance points.
Qualifying: No points are awarded for qualifying.
A and B Pony Stock Heat Race Points: 5, 4, 3, 2. Everyone else gets 1 point.
Pony Stock A Feature race points: 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14. Everyone else gets 13 points. Each driver is awarded one point for each lap completed.
Pony Stock B Feature race points: 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6. Everyone else gets 5 points. Each driver is awarded one point for each lap completed.
Spartan Stock Heat race points: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6. Everyone else gets 5 points.
Spartan Stock A Feature race points: 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24. Everyone else gets 23 points. Each driver is awarded one point for each lap completed.
Spartan Stock B Feature race points: 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16. Everyone else gets 15 points. Each driver is awarded one point for each lap completed.
Spartan Stock C Feature race points: 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8. Everyone else gets 7 points. Each driver is awarded one point for each lap completed.
